[H1]Slave trading[\H1]
Slaves, like the Great Merchant in BTS, can conduct a trade mission in a foreign city (the unit gets disbanded/sold), gaining 10-60 [ICON_GOLD]. Furthermore, slaves can also speed up the production of a city.
[H1]Animal trading[\H1]
Horses, camels and elephants can also conduct trade missions in foreign cities.
[H1]Looted gold[\H1]
Gold carts can be exchanged for money in foreign cities. However, the proceeds in your own capital or in your own provincial capitals are slightly higher.
[H1]Merchants[\H1]
The basic requirement for building a merchant is a trading post. Trading posts will be enabled upon completion of the Silk Road project. One merchant can be created per trading post. The maximum number of active merchants per CIV is 10. It doesn't matter whether they are land or sea units.
If you own fewer than 10 trading posts or play an OCC game, you can have more in the following ways:
[ICON_BULLET] Financial Head of State: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Maritime Head of State: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Civic Private Business: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Tech Magnetism: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Tech Cartography: +1
If a land trader moves through a roadless area, a path may appear (3% chance).
[H1]Trading[\H1]
In PAE goods can be bought and sold. These goods remain available 3 turns in the trading network. The dealer is not dissolved. These trade routes can be automated.
Note: It is possible that [LINK=CONCEPT_RESOURCES]certain buildings[\LINK] can be built with the resources traded. If the resource is no longer available after 3 turns, the building can be automatically [COLOR_UNIT_TEXT]dismantled[COLOR_REVERT] over time.
[ICON_BULLET] Merchant (Spoked Wheels)
[ICON_BULLET] Caravan (Camel domestication)
[ICON_BULLET] Keftion (Ship building)
[ICON_BULLET] Gaulos (Colonization)
[ICON_BULLET] Merchantman (Trade ships)
Buy goods in one of your cities (only regional resources possible) and sell them in another city. Maximize the proceeds by selling goods that your trading partner does not have. And vice versa. Buy foreign goods that you do not own, sell them in one of your cities and profit from a few rounds of this new resource.
[ICON_BULLET]Hint: with Bronze you can build appropriate units without having to create bronze yourself
[ICON_BULLET]Hint: load cultivable items into a wagon right after a trade and distribute them in your own realm
Base Value (Purchase & Sale):
Livestock, Grain, and Cultivable Resources: 10 [ICON_GOLD]
Luxury Goods: 20 [ICON_GOLD]
Rarities: 30 [ICON_GOLD]
Common Goods: 15 [ICON_GOLD]
If a bonus good is not within the city's radius but is available through the trade network: Purchase Price = Base Value * 2
Modifiers for sales:
[ICON_BULLET] +1% per population
[ICON_BULLET] +5% per positive attitude to the civilization
[ICON_BULLET] +10% per world wonder in the city
[ICON_BULLET] +50% if the trading partner does not own the bonus good
[ICON_BULLET] -25% if the trading partner already owns the bonus good
[ICON_BULLET] +25% for merchant ships and caravans
[ICON_BULLET] +1 [ICON_GOLD] per 5 plots distance
Formula:
Sum = base value * (modifiers + 100) / 100 + distance / 5
Corruption = maintenance costs of the city
Profit= Sum - Corruption
[ICON_BULLET] The civilization of the trading city also receives a research bonus, provided that the sold goods come from another civilization.
[ICON_BULLET] For Bronze, Iron or Horse the attitude towards the trading partner can be improved by 1 (Chance 5%)
[ICON_BULLET] Goods marked with [ICON_TRADE] are not local goods and therefore 2x more expensive
[H1]Trade routes[\H1]
Players can assign merchants automatic trade routes. These are listed at the advisor menu bar (top of the main screen) under Trading Routes.
Caution: Merchants do not get activated if barbaric units are nearby! (Reason: because otherwise land units cannot move when enemy ships or pirates are nearby)
Automatic trade routes gets automatically deactivated if a trading city no longer provides the traded bonus resource.
[H1]Special orders[\H1]
Accept profitable but time-sensitive special orders from foreign cities. If you manage to complete a special order in a certain time, you're primarily getting a (conquerable) technology from this CIV, or if there's none, 5 units (slaves, horses, camels, riders, gold carts and possibly one of its special units). These orders are not tailor-made for you. So it may be that a distant city needs a good that has not been accessed by you.
[H1]Trade routes[\H1]
If you exchange goods in city B (with goods from city A), a trade route can be created from city B to city A (only 1 plot per completed trade). The more valuable the goods the higher the chance. The trade route begins directly at the city plot. If you trade through a merchant ship, then a trade route can be created from the port city to its capital (again only 1 plot per trade), if the capital is nearby (max. distance: 8 + map size[0-5] * 2).
Trade routes only arise when a trade between two different nations is completed.
Trade routes have the advantage of increasing the movement by +1 (such as Roman Roads or Royal Roads) and giving the plot +1 [ICON_COMMERCE].
Chance to build a trade route:
The trading partner owns the resource: 5%
Otherwise:
[ICON_BULLET]Normal: 10%
[ICON_BULLET]Luxury: 15%
[ICON_BULLET]Strategic: 20%
[ICON_BULLET]Rarity: 25%
[H1]Trade centers[\H1]
A city is considered a trade center if the city plot leads away several active trade routes. If the city lies inland it needs 3 leading trade routes. A city by the sea needs only 2 leading trade routes. The trading center itself is a building that is automatically put into the city, when a trade is made there. It increases the gold gain on passive trade routes by 100%.
[H1]Robbery of a merchant[\H1]
Merchants can be robbed, except in cities.
The probability of being robbed depends on the number of active barbarian cities. The current danger is displayed after each robbery. Calculation: Number of barbarian cities divided by the map size: 1 (Duel) to 6 (Huge)
[ICON_BULLET] e.g. 10 barbarian cities on a standard map (4) corresponds to 2%
[ICON_BULLET] e.g. 30 barbarian cities on a huge map (6) corresponds to 5%
[ICON_BULLET] The minimum chance is 1% in any case
Without an escort, the merchant can either lose his goods or be killed. With an escort, the merchant can lose the maximum escort. The chance of this is 50%. | [H1]Commerce d'esclaves[\H1]
[H1]Or pillé[\H1]
Formule :
Somme = valeur de base * (modificateurs + 100) / 100 + distance / 5
Corruption = coût de maintenance de la ville
Bénéfice = somme - corruption
[ICON_BULLET] Finanzielles Staatsoberhaupt: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Maritimes Staatsoberhaupt: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Staatsform Privatwirtschaft: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Tech Magnetismus: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Tech Kartographie: +1
Formel:
Summe = Basiswert * (Modifikatoren + 100) / 100 + Distanz / 5
Korruption = Unterhaltskosten der Stadt
Profit = Summe - Korruption
[ICON_BULLET] Capo dello Stato finanziario: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Capo di Stato marittimo: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Civiche Imprese private: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Tec Magnetismo: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Tec Cartografia: +1
[ICON_BULLET] Convoglio commerciale (ruote a raggi)
[ICON_BULLET] Carovana (addomesticamento del cammello)
[ICON_BULLET] Keftion (costruzione di navi)
[ICON_BULLET] Gaulos (Colonizzazione)
[ICON_BULLET] Mercantile (navi commerciali)
Valore base (acquisto e vendita):
Bestiame, grano e risorse coltivabili: 10 [ICON_GOLD]
Beni di lusso: 20 [ICON_GOLD]
Rarità: 30 [ICON_GOLD]
Beni comuni: 15 [ICON_GOLD]
Formula:
Somma = Valore base * (Modificatore + 100) / 100 + Distanza / 5
Corruzione = costi di manutenzione della città * 2
Profitto = somma - corruzione

Valor base (compra y venta):
Gano, grano y recursos cultivables: 10 [ICON_GOLD]
Suma = Valor base * (Modificador + 100) / 100 + Distancia / 5
Corrupción = costos de mantenimiento de la ciudad * 2
Beneficio = suma - corrupción
[H1]Robo a comerciantes[\H1]
